Each of these maps print out on 9 8-1/2" x 11" sheets of paper; just trim the margins and place them in a 3 x 3 square.
If you don't have a colour printer don't worry, they actually look better in black and white. Types of terrain are marked both by colour and by text, so colour printing isn't necessary.
Stonehenge Arena
An outdoor map based loosely on Stonehenge. Standing stones act as blocking terrain, fallen stones as hindering terrain. A tour bus full of prom queens, pizza guys and tightrope walkers has stopped to look at this monument, now go get them.
Ancient Outpost
Made as part of my non-canon Ancient civilization motif, this map can be used for non-scenario play as well. An island has risen from the depths (shades of "The Call of Cthulu") containing the ruins of an ancient outpost and the monsters want to search it for ancient secrets. Coincidentally, a boatload of jocks, lab assistants and jugglers got there first.
This is an inside/outside map; both doors and holes in the walls allow access to the interior of the outpost. Not only is it my first attempt to incorporate water terrain, but there is also elevated terrain (using the HeroClix rules) inside the building.
Temple of Eeg
Another non-canon Ancient civ map. The temple of the mysterious god Eeg is located below ground (inside map). As usual, the nerds, nurses and clowns have beaten you to it - but to their own doom.
The River
The Cheerleaders, CSI Roswell agents and Contortionists have come to do a little skinny dipping and, just like in all the movies, this has attracted a bunch of monsters controlled by you (and your opponent).
This is, I hope, a better use of water terrain without overdoing it than my earlier maps. There are hindering terrain stepping stones as well as a clear terrain log to get aross the river with. I was originally going to go for a swamp-like location, but I wasn't good enough with the graphics to pull it off, so it's your more generic picnic grounds/camping site/skinny dipping hole type location.
The Vale of Pnoth
The night-gaunts have taken both armies as well as twelve victims to the Vale of Pnoth.
I am quite proud of the dinosaur-like skeleton as well as the attempt at human skeletons on this. Unfortunately, computer limits prevented me from getting quite as many bones in as Lovecraft seemed to indicate there should be and I got lazy on the colouring of the background and the rocks (yes, those brown things are rocks).
